Responsibilities

- Measure, cut, and hang drywall sheets accurately according to project specifications and blueprints
- Finish drywall surfaces by taping, applying joint compound, sanding, and smoothing to achieve flawless walls
- Install insulation, corner beads, and other wall accessories as needed for optimal finish and durability
- Must has reliable vehicle and all necessary handtools to complete drywall install and drywall finishing.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or technical drawings to guide installation processes
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for cutting, fastening, and finishing drywall components
- Conduct minor carpentry tasks related to drywall framing or repairs when necessary




- Apply construction painting techniques to prepare surfaces for final coats when required
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing materials and disposing of debris regularly
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met on time

Qualifications

- Proven experience in drywall installation and finishing within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction painting, carpentry, caulking, and blueprint reading
- Handyman experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility across various building tasks
- Ability follow detailed instructions
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship
- Reliable work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
