Tandoori Cook / North Indian Cook (Full-Time / Part-Time)

The Guelph Estate Convention Centre & Banquet Hall is currently looking for an experienced Tandoori & North Indian Cook to join our growing kitchen team.

Position

- Full-Time or Part-Time
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Flexible shifts (days, evenings, weekends)

Responsibilities

- Prepare authentic North Indian dishes in a fast-paced commercial kitchen.
- Operate a tandoor oven and prepare fresh naan, roti, kulcha, and other tandoori breads.
- Cook popular North Indian curries, appetizers, and tandoori specialties.
- Maintain high food quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
- Work efficiently during busy banquet and catering events.

Requirements

- Experience preparing North Indian cuisine in a restaurant, banquet hall, or catering kitchen.




- Strong knowledge of tandoor cooking and naan preparation.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings and weekends when required.
