The Silver Heights Restaurant has been serving Winnipeg for over almost 70 years. We are looking for a eager, reliable, goal oriented, hard working individual to join or kitchen team.
The position is 3-5 shifts a week, start time is approx 9am and approx 6-8 hr shifts. Applicants that can help out on some night shifts if needed, and have are looked at first.
The position requires the following:
- Must be a Permanent resident of Canada and work with no restrictions
- Have transportation to and from work (applicants with own car are ideal)
- Lots of availability
- At least one year commercial kitchen experience
- Have valid references
- Reliable and positive work ethic
- Must speak fluent English
- Able to work as a team and independently
- Must be able to learn from others and take direction
- Must have valid Food Handlers Certification (or receive within 1 month if hired)
