Join the leadership team at PeakFine Restaurant at Sparkling Hill Resort! We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our Food & Beverage division as a Restaurant Supervisor.

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the Restaurant Supervisor supports the daily operation of PeakFine Restaurant and Barrique & Java. They provide hands-on leadership during both breakfast and dinner service. This position requires flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays according to operational needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Consistently provide professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Lead the restaurant team during breakfast and dinner service, ensuring the operation runs smoothly and efficiently
- Provide clear direction and support to team members throughout each shift
- Ensure established service standards, operating procedures, and opening and closing requirements are consistently followed
- Coordinate with the culinary team to support efficient service, accurate communication, and the timely resolution of operational concerns
- Maintain strong communication between the front-of-house and back-of-house teams
- Respond to guest concerns promptly, professionally, and with sound judgment
- Support the Restaurant Manager with ordering alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages, and other restaurant supplies
- Receive and verify deliveries, monitor stock levels, and ensure products are stored securely and appropriately




- Assist with regular inventory counts, investigate discrepancies, and help maintain accurate inventory records
- Monitor product usage and assist with controlling waste, breakage, and unnecessary expenses
- Assist with preparing employee schedules according to forecasted business levels and operational requirements
- Help coordinate coverage for absences and be prepared to assist with covering shifts when reasonably required
- Support the recruitment, orientation, and training of restaurant team members
- Conduct service, menu, beverage, policy, and procedural training as directed
- Provide timely coaching and feedback to team members and assist the Restaurant Manager with performance management and documentation
- Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, productivity, and overall performance during assigned shifts
- Ensure team members meet the resort’s uniform, grooming, conduct, and service expectations
- Assist with the accurate calculation, administration, and distribution of gratuities in accordance with established procedures
- Complete shift reports, cash-outs, reconciliations, and other administrative responsibilities accurately and on time
- Maintain full knowledge of restaurant menus, ingredients, preparation methods, dietary considerations, and beverage offerings
- Communicate menu changes, unavailable items, daily features, promotions, and relevant guest information to the restaurant team
- Maximize revenue by supporting agreed-upon sales strategies, promotions, and suggestive-selling practices




- Ensure responsible alcohol service requirements are followed at all times
- Follow all restaurant policies, procedures, service standards, and safety and sanitation requirements
- Attend regularly scheduled departmental meetings and contribute to effective communication within the team
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager or as operational needs require

Qualifications

- Previous Food & Beverage leadership or supervisory experience is required
- Previous experience in a full-service restaurant environment is preferred
- Experience with point-of-sale systems is required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Valid Serving It Right certification
- FOODSAFE Level 1 certification is preferred
- University or college education in hospitality or a related discipline is considered an asset
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Strong interpersonal, coaching, and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible, reliable, and able to use sound judgment
- Ability to remain organized and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with both front-of-house and culinary teams
- Ability to focus on guest needs while remaining calm, professional, and courteous
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Reliable transportation is essential

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
