Senior/Elderly Caregiver

Neighbourhood Home Care Services is currently in need of permanent caregivers, early morning, afternoon and evening shifts.
Caregivers can enjoy the benefit of seeing multiple people in a day.

Nursing students/CCA's/PSW/
For our companionship visits you can be a caregiver that enjoys visiting with seniors and taking them for appointments or outings. etc.

Part-time/Casual worker

3-8 hour shifts, any time between the hours of 6am and 5 pm.

Caregivers will be caring for Seniors in their private home setting.

Must Have:

- Valid Canadian Driver's License
- $2,000,000.00 Vehicle Liability Insurance
- Negative TB (Tuberculin) Test Result
- Must be authorized to work in Canada and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

Duties as a Neighbourhood Home Care Caregiver:

- Meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, personal care
- Help maintaining a healthy routine and assisting in Activities of Daily Living
- Documentation and reporting
- Maintain a healthy and safe environments
- Providing transportation for appointments and outings

Our Ideal Candidate:

- Nursing students,



Caregivers, CCA's, EA's, PSW, etc.
- Fluent English.
- CPR/FIRST AID level C
- TLR (Transfer Lift and Repositioning)
- Work experience with Personal Care
- Clean Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
- Must be 18 or older
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Excellent communication
