H&H; Wood Products is seeking a reliable and professional AZ Driver to join our team. This position involves daily trips originating from Wheatley, Ontario, with deliveries and pick-ups that may cross into Michigan. The successful candidate will operate dry van, flatbed, and walking floor trailers while maintaining compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Daily Driving Duties:
- Operate a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently for 8-10 hours per day, starting at approximately 6:30 AM and concluding by 5:00 PM (longer hours as required). Overtime paid after 44 hours.
- Transport goods across the border to Michigan and back.
- Equipment Management:
- Handle a variety of trailer types, including dry van, flatbed, and walking floor trailers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the truck, both inside and out.
- Communication:
- Report any mechanical issues to the mechanics promptly.
- Maintain open communication with dispatch and other team members regarding scheduling and load details.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Complete and submit accurate daily electronic logs (E-logs).
- Adhere to all Ontario and Michigan traffic laws and commercial vehicle regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements:





- Valid AZ Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Experience driving with flatbed and dry van trailers (walking floor experience is an asset).
- Must have the ability to throw straps over a flatbed trailer.
- Familiarity with cross-border transportation requirements.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- Robust organizational skills and attention to detail in completing logs and documentation.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and professional vehicle.
