Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. In this role, you will be instrumental in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your enthusiasm and culinary skills will help us serve delicious meals efficiently while ensuring a positive experience for our guests.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Cook menu items with precision, speed, and consistency to meet customer expectations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace at all times
- Follow food safety protocols and handle food properly to prevent contamination
- Assist in food plating and presentation to ensure visual appeal
- Support the team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations and safety standards
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Excellent understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members
- Passion for the food industry with a desire to learn and grow professionally
- Knowledge of serving standards and customer service principles is a plus
