Class 3 Driver

Our client is a leading organization specializing in hazardous materials management, construction, and environmental remediation in the Saanich Peninsula. They are committed to maintaining the highest safety and environmental standards while delivering critical projects that protect communities and ecosystems.

Our client is looking for a Waste Collection Driver to join their dedicated team serving the Saanich, Victoria, and Westshore areas. The position involves full-time, permanent work. As a key member of the team, you’ll ensure reliable waste collection services and maintain high safety standards.

Responsibilities:

- Operate side-load and roll-off garbage trucks for residential and commercial waste collection.
- Provide secure, efficient, and courteous service to customers.
- Maintain strict adherence to schedules and routes.
- Perform routine checks and minor maintenance on collection vehicles.
- Assist with loading and unloading waste materials when required.




- Cover shifts or routes as needed to ensure consistent service.

Qualifications:

- Valid Class 3 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating large vehicles, such as side-load garbage trucks, is preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- No prior convictions related to vehicle operation.

Pay: $30.00-$31.00 per hour
