Our Vancouver based accounting services client is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join the team.
Must have IFRS experience with a publicly listed company

**Salary ranging from $75,000 to $85,000 + benefits**

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare quarterly and year-end financial statements, including MD&A;, in accordance with IFRS
- Complete consolidations, foreign currency translations, and related working papers
- Provide financial and variance analysis across balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
- Assist with month-end and period-end close activities, including select bookkeeping and journal entries
- Coordinate year-end audit planning and act as a liaison with external auditors
- Support continuous disclosure requirements and address complex accounting issues such as acquisitions and stock-based compensation

Qualifications

- CPA designation (asset)
- Experience with public company reporting under IFRS
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
