Technical Sales

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Identifies customer applications and programs that present an opportunity for SCHUNK Automation sales. Proposes solutions to these customers and leverages resources from inside sales to achieve sales goals and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain customer contact and information via CRM database.
- Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular or prospective customers to solicit recent orders.
- Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes features likely to generate sales.
- Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares quotations for orders obtained. Review supplied quotations and follows up to meet or exceed quote-hit-rate goal.
- Prepares reports of business transactions and maintains expense reports.
- Keep account activities and call reports up to date through CRM system.
- Coordinates customer and distributor training.
- Attends trade shows

Qualifications:

- Experience working with or in the industrial market
- Highly motivated with strong organizational skills
- Disciplined self-starter with ability to multi-task
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet sales goals and overcome potential rejection inherent to sales environment

Education and/or Experience:
Automation,



Mechatronic, or Robotics related diplomas. or two to four years outside sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the Automation Industry.
