General Summary

One of our leading clients looking for Maintenance Technician. The client is famous in GTA for providing a quality wood pallet product and meeting the high demands of our clients’ supply chain needs. They are seeking a Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will diagnose and repair facilities and production equipment in a safe, timely, and cost- effective manner.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

- Reporting to the Maintenance Team Lead, follow instructions for daily maintenance tasks, scheduled preventive/corrective maintenance tasks and proactively looking for and addressing issues.
- Be a strong team player in performing and communicating maintenance-related tasks and posses the ability to work independently providing solutions and leveraging continuous improvement and TPM methodologies.
- Repair and Maintain machines and equipment in a safe manner collaboratively working with production to return in valuable condition.
- Identify and troubleshoot Automation & Controls related issues and help minimize the downtime of machines and equipment.
- Perform regularly scheduled equipment preventive maintenance (PM), troubleshooting, and scheduled safety inspections.




- Responsible for performing and closing assigned Work Orders through CMMS and providing critical information regarding repairs and PMs to the Maintenance Team Lead.
- Proactive in group discussions, taking part in periodic meetings and answering maintenance-related questions.
- Ensure strong communication between shifts including providing updates on the status of maintenance-related tasks, broken equipment, and leftover repair work via email communication.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Complete all the required training on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.

Education And Experience

- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
- Previous work experience as an industrial maintenance technician.
- Excellent knowledge of Lean manufacturing concepts
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Basic computer and report writing skills.
- Good communication & time-management skills.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Valid Ontario Driver’s license and forklift and scissors lift license/certification.
- Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and building codes.

Timing – Morning shift 6am to 3:30pm

Afternoon 3:30pm to 11:30pm

Pay Rate – Depends upon experience (Negotiable)

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
