GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Server/Bartender is an essential part of the Moxy crew—keeping drinks flowing, guests smiling, and the vibe high. You'll help the F&B; team deliver exceptional service and experiences, ensuring every guest interaction feels fresh, genuine, and just a little bit cheeky. Whether you're crafting signature cocktails, taking orders with flair, or jumping in to support the team, you bring the Moxy attitude: fun, focused, and always one step ahead.

WHO YOU ARE:

Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and food pairings is a plus.
- Smart Serve Certification/Food Handlers Certification is required.
- Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and not afraid to work hard and have fun while doing it.

Preferred Extras:

- Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Familiarity with Marriott systems and POS platforms (knowledge is a plus
- Familiar with Marriott brand GSS, BSA and GXP
- Bilingual (English/French) an asset
- Strong communication and natural teamwork ability
- Passion for guest service and keeping the Moxy vibe alive

Physical Requirements:

- Comfortable working on your feet and moving throughout the dining and bar areas
- Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks (reaching, bending, gripping, etc.)
- Manual dexterity for bar equipment and glassware handling

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Keep It Fresh:

- Maintain the bar and dining areas to Moxy standards—clean, organized, and always ready for action.
- Craft cocktails, pour wines and beers,



and prepare beverages with style and precision.
- Stock supplies, prep garnishes, and keep your station "selfie-ready" at all times.
- Contribute ideas to daily specials, seasonal drinks, and themed beverage menus.

Support the Crew:

- Greet guests warmly and provide detailed information about menu and beverage options with genuine enthusiasm.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, communicating special requests and dietary preferences to the kitchen.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly with proper presentation and your signature Moxy smile.
- Partner with kitchen and dining team to reset service stations and keep the flow smooth.
- Respond quickly to guest requests and handle concerns with warmth and problem-solving energy.

Shine Behind the Scenes:

- Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve issues with professionalism and personality.
- Handle transactions accurately—cash, credit, and room charges—following RIMAP policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, dining, and prep areas.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of function spaces according to event details.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service compliance policies.
- Monitor alcohol consumption and adhere to responsible serving practices.
