Job Description:

We are currently seeking to fill a few positions Sheet Metal Journeyman with 10+ years experience and experience in project management and 4th Year Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience in commercial sheet metal installation, a growth mindset and positive attitude, with a strong commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities:

- Install Commercial HVAC systems, ductwork, in a variety of settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installations.
- Measure and cut sheet metal materials to precise dimensions.
- Work with a variety of tools and equipment to perform installation tasks.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and other trades to ensure efficient project completion.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise on the job site.

Qualifications:

- Journeyman:



Minimum of 10+ years of hands-on experience as a Sheet Metal Journeyman. Project Management experience an asset. We are seeking a self motivated, team player that is ambitious, competitive, and possesses solid organizational, time management skills. Task focused; goal oriented, and the ability to plan and forecast upcoming tasks and prepare their team as well as pivot when needed. Ability to manage multiple tasks and execute them in a timely manner while maintaining their priority. Strong communication and effective conflict resolution skills.
- 4th Year Apprentice: Must be enrolled in or completing the apprenticeship program a self motivated, team player that is ambitious, competitive, and has strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of commercial sheet metal installation
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience working with various hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of OH&S; safety standards and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work efficiently when working independently and as part of a team.
- Valid Drivers license & Clean drivers abstract
