Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Class 1 Flat Bed Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating flatbed trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently across various routes. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience with heavy equipment, and a commitment to safety and professionalism. Responsibilities

- Safely operate Class 1 flatbed trucks to deliver freight to designated locations
- Secure loads properly using appropriate tie-downs and safety equipment
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and load security
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in compliance with company policies and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transportation
- Assist with loading and unloading freight when necessary, utilizing forklift or heavy equipment as needed




- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to ensure vehicle readiness
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe transportation at all times

Requirements

- Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Knowledge of freight handling, securing loads, and transportation regulations
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues
- Strong attention to safety procedures and detail-oriented approach
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and operate heavy equipment as required
- Prior experience in commercial driving or freight logistics preferred
- Must pass background check and drug screening prior to employment

This role is vital for maintaining productive logistics operations, ensuring timely deliveries, and upholding safety standards across all transportation activities.

Pay: $8,000.00-$10,000.00 per month
