We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient handling of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring products are properly received, stored, and dispatched. Your expertise in inventory management systems and order fulfillment will drive smooth warehouse distribution operations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move goods within the facility
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using dealer management software
- Prepare outgoing shipments by accurately picking, packing, and labeling products for delivery
- Manage order picking processes efficiently to meet customer deadlines and maintain high accuracy levels
- Perform weekly part runs to local facilities and businesses
- Conduct routine inspections of inbound and outbound loads to ensure compliance with safety standards and packaging requirements
- Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and maintaining organized storage areas for optimal warehouse distribution flow
Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or related roles is helpful
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
- Ability to perform order picking efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Physical ability to load & unload shipments, stand for extended periods, and lift heavy items as needed
