We are seeking a talented and energetic Journeyman Hairstylist to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities

- Provide qualified hair styling services including cuts, color, blowouts, and special treatments with precision and creativity.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by listening carefully to clients’ needs and offering personalized recommendations.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment.
- Engage in retail sales by recommending suitable hair products and upselling additional services to enhance client satisfaction.
- Manage front desk duties such as greeting clients, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and handling client inquiries efficiently.
- Communicate clearly with clients about their desired styles, aftercare instructions,



and product recommendations to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Support team collaboration by sharing expertise, assisting colleagues during busy periods, and contributing to a positive salon culture.

Qualifications

- Valid state licensure as a Journeyman Hairstylist or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience in hair styling, coloring, and finishing techniques.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and retain clients.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards within a salon setting.
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining genuine client relationships.
- Prior experience managing front desk responsibilities or retail sales is a plus.
