Job Overview: We are seeking a full-time Automation Engineer to join our team in Fort McMurray, AB. This is a stable, residential role (40 hours/week, non-rotational) requiring local residency or relocation.
Compensation: Competitive salary + Fort McMurray living allowance provided on top of base pay.
Key Responsibilities: Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC and DCS platforms. Support industrial network infrastructure, communication protocols, and system integration. Assist with operational technology (OT) and system security measures. Provide in office technical support, testing, and troubleshooting.
Qualifications: Experience with industrial automation, control systems, or instrumentation. Familiarity with PLC/DCS systems and basic industrial networking. Technical background (Degree, Diploma, or hands-on engineering/trade experience). Valid driver's license and willingness to relocate to Fort McMurray.
