We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual with plumbing experience to join our growing team in Amherst NS.
The successful candidate will install plumbing systems in modular apartment buildings.
Responsibilities
- Install plumbing systems in modular apartment buildings.
- Install water supply, drainage, waste, and vent piping.
- Install plumbing fixtures, water heaters, pumps, and related equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plumbing specifications.
- Test plumbing systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with applicable codes.
- Coordinate work with carpenters, electricians, HVAC technicians, and other trades.
- Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in plumbing installation
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment,
and schematics interpretation
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and carpentry is highly desirable for integrated system projects
- Valid driver’s license
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, climb ladders or scaffolding, and work in confined spaces safely
