Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions promptly and accurately
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts regularly to ensure consistency
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve them efficiently
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate employee payments




- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards
- HST preparation and filing

Requirements

- Proven experience with bookkeeping and accounting tasks in a professional setting
- Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll processes, and financial reporting
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation accurately
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account analysis processes
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines in a part-time capacity
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external vendors
