Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential carpentry, with experience in various aspects of woodworking, framing, finishing, and installation. This role involves interpreting blueprints, working with diverse materials, and utilizing a wide range of hand and power tools to deliver high-quality craftsmanship. The Carpenter will contribute to projects such as framing, cabinetry, restoration, roofing, siding, flooring, and more, ensuring all work meets safety standards and client specifications.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute projects.
- Perform framing, cabinetry installation, tile laying, flooring installation, siding, roofing, and other carpentry tasks.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and restoration projects as needed.
- Measure materials accurately and estimate project requirements for cost-effective execution.
- Conduct construction painting, caulking, and finishing work to achieve desired aesthetic results.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work workplace; adhere to safety protocols at all times.




- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for construction projects.
- Support plumbing and electrical installations when necessary or coordinate with specialists.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in carpentry or related construction fields; prior experience with woodworking is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other relevant equipment.
- Knowledge of concrete forming, masonry techniques, roofing systems, siding installation, flooring methods including tile laying.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus.
- Experience in restoration work or handyman services is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy lifting and working at heights or around heavy machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking on job sites.
- Valid driver’s license preferred; own transportation is a plus.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
