Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Pro Shop Customer Service Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing sales transactions, and assisting customers with product inquiries in a retail environment focused on golf equipment and merchandise. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, retail experience, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Familiarity with POS systems, handling cash and submitting end of shift reports are required.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selections, questions, and purchases
- Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, merchandising products, and organizing displays
- Conduct product demos to educate customers about merchandise features and benefits
- Sell additional products or services to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring merchandise is well-presented
- Handle cash handling duties with accuracy and adherence to cash handling procedures




- Provide excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
- Assist other team members when applicable, ensuring smooth store operations
- Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and replenishment tasks

Qualifications

- Previous retail sales experience preferred; golf knowledge is an asset
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Proficiency in POS systems, cashiering, and basic math for transactions and inventory management
- Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and product demos confidently
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a professional phone etiquette
- Knowledge of retail math, upselling techniques, and cash handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
