One of our clients is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead Institutional,

Commercial, and Industrial (ICI) renovation projects across Ontario.

This role is responsible for managing projects from planning through completion, including site

supervision, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, quality control, and project close-out. The

successful candidate must be comfortable with frequent travel and temporary on-site assignments

as required.

Travel accommodations and fuel expenses will be covered for project-related travel.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Construction & Planning

 Review project drawings, specifications, and scope of work

 Participate in project kick-off meetings and maintain meeting minutes

 Support project planning, scheduling, and risk assessment

 Assist with subcontractor and supplier procurement

 Coordinate permits and approvals where required

 Develop and maintain project schedules

Site Execution & Project Delivery

 Lead project mobilization and site setup

 Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and daily site activities

 Ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications

 Monitor schedules and address delays proactively

 Conduct quality control inspections

 Maintain daily reports and project documentation

 Attend owner and consultant meetings

 Identify and resolve site issues efficiently

Project Close-Out

 Coordinate inspections,



documentation, and project handover

 Ensure deficiencies are completed and signed off

 Manage warranty-related work as required

 Demobilize project sites upon completion

Requirements

 Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing ICI renovation projects

 Proven experience delivering projects valued between $1M and $5M

 Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project sequencing

 Experience managing multiple trades and subcontractors

 Knowledge of Ontario health and safety regulations

 Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

 Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively

 Professional references related to previous ICI projects will be required

Additional Information

 Travel required throughout Ontario, including remote project locations

Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
