We are looking to add a Sales & Specification position to join our team. The successful candidate will work with government agencies, architects, designers, and other customers. The candidate will be organized, proficient with computers, familiar with interior design specifications, and have excellent customer service skills.

Required Skills and Abilities:

- College Education or 2 years of industry-related experience,
- Proficient with Auto-Cad or CET
- Strong understanding of major brands such as Herman Miller, Knoll, ThreeH and/or other contract furniture lines (Haworth, Global, Teknion, etc)
- Specification experience w/ Project Spec & CET
- Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
- Contribute to positive team atmosphere
- Pass federal security clearance
- Drivers License

Responsibilities include:

- Generate new business by establishing relationships with a wide range of customers and contributing to overall business growth




- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with customers across Vancouver Island
- Negotiate pricing, contracts and manage overall project margin/profit
- Maintain attention to multiple accounts and relationships
- Attend and host industry events.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry trends
- Collaborate with team members in a positive and impactful way.
- Draw furniture plans & layouts
- 3D Rendering & drawing using CET or other industry tools
- Order entry and processing
- Support the project lifecycle from quoting to the delivery and installation, and after sales

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Hourly based on experience: $28.00+
