Job Summary
We're looking for a warm, reliable, and detail-oriented Store Associate + Presser to join our team at Blessed Cleaners. In this hybrid role, you'll be pressing garments to perfection while also providing outstanding service to our wonderful customers. Smiling is a must, we love creating a space where customers feel welcome and taken care of.
No prior dry cleaning experience? No problem! We'll train you on everything you need to know.
And if you have your own car, there's an optional way to earn more: you can also sign on as a company laundry driver, handling pickups and deliveries for our customers. It's a flexible way to add hours and boost your pay.
Duties
- Press and finish garments with care, using steam and heat
- Greet customers and assist with drop-offs and pick-ups
- Provide garment inspections and spot minor stains
- Steam garments on request
- Keep the front area clean, tidy, and customer-ready
- Occasionally update our social media with promotions or store updates
- Respond to customer messages or emails when needed
- Help create a friendly and professional environment
- (Optional driver role) Pick up and deliver customer laundry safely and on time, keeping garments clean and organized in transit
Qualifications
- A positive attitude, a big smile, and a willingness to learn
- Comfortable standing for long periods and doing physical tasks
- Great attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Availability to work on Saturdays
- Bonus: Experience in pressing
- (For the optional driver role) A valid driver's license, a reliable personal vehicle, and a clean driving record
Pay & Optional Driver Role
This position offers two ways to work with us, and you can do one or both:
- Pressing: $16.75 per hour, reflecting the added skill and effort the pressing work requires
- Store Associate: your in-store counter and customer-service hours (rate discussed during interview)
- Company Laundry Driver (optional): if you have your own car, you can also drive for us at $18 per hour plus $0.30 per kilometer driven to cover your mileage and fuel
