Job Summary

Looking for a responsible and dedicated worker who enjoys working with sows and piglets. Position would include the protected and efficient breeding and farrowing of sows. Experience is an asset, but willing to train. Flexibility and weekend rotation is required. We offer competitive wages.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Feeding Sows
- Heat checking sows and artificial insemination
- Processing and treating pigs
- Weaning and moving sows
- Maintain cull and gilt flow
- Vaccinate and oversee health of sows
- Record and manage accurate breeding data
- Power wash, clean and sanitize
- Maintain and repair equipment

Qualifications and Skills

- Highschool Diploma
- Agriculture (livestock/grain/feed) or manufacturing experience
- Ability to work independently
- Must be able to lift 25kg
- Applicants must have a valid G license and a reliable mode of transportation.
