Part-Time: Weekends and Evenings

Willingdon Church is looking for a Part time Custodian who can provide support in the area of janitorial services to all ministries. Willingdon Custodians have a heart for supporting the ministries of Willingdon and are welcoming and kind to all visitors to the church.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

- Perform all cleaning and maintenance duties according to the work shift ordered scheduled
- Opening and closing the building and maintaining the security protocols to ensure a safe environment
- Prepare and set up venues for events, gathers and meetings
- Ensuring all walkways and parking lots at WC, BCIT and Moscrop are properly maintained during inclement weather
- Demonstrates excellence in their customer/visitor service

Skills Required:

- Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)




- Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks for extended periods
- Ability to work independently and alongside other staff members
- Ability to work with cleaning equipment and tools as needed
- Knowledge of all building systems, building construction, site utilities and site construction is an asset
