Job description

We are currently seeking a full-time Parts Manager to lead our Parts Department at Valley Honda in Woodstock, NB.

This role is responsible for the efficient, profitable, and customer-focused operation of the parts department within a rapid-paced dealership environment. The Parts Manager will oversee inventory, purchasing, team leadership, and departmental performance, ensuring strong support for both retail customers and internal service operations.

Responsibilities and requirements:

- Lead and manage all daily operations of the Parts Department, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and profitability
- Maintain optimal inventory levels through forecasting, purchasing, and inventory control processes
- Monitor stock levels, manage obsolescence, and ensure proper parts storage, labeling, and organization
- Order parts from OEM and approved vendors, managing backorders, returns, and vendor relationships
- Work closely with the Service Department to ensure timely parts availability and maximize shop productivity
- Develop and implement processes to improve workflow, accuracy, and turnaround times




- Establish pricing strategies and monitor margins to meet departmental profit goals
- Track key performance indicators (sales, gross profit, inventory turns) and take corrective actions as needed
- Lead, coach, and develop Parts team members, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Support retail and wholesale parts sales, building strong relationships with customers and partners
- Resolve escalated customer concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with dealership standards

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in an automotive parts role, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong understanding of inventory management, purchasing, and parts operations within a dealership environment
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced, performance-driven setting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage budgets, margins, and departmental KPIs
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence

Schedule:

7:30 am - 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday
