About the Role

As a Butcher at The Butcher, you will:

- Cut and prepare a variety of meats to precise customer specifications
- Perform whole animal breakdown (where applicable)
- Handle and store all products safely in full compliance with food safety regulations
- Package meats attractively and professionally for display and sale
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
- Deliver outstanding customer service — answering questions, offering guidance, and building relationships
- Collaborate with a fast-moving, high-performing team





This is a hands-on role in a busy, respected specialty shop where quality matters and pride shows.

What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience as a butcher or in a similar food industry role
- Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and food safety practices
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
- Friendly, confident customer service abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic kitchen and food preparation knowledge is an asset
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented

Job Types: Full-time, Part time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
