Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Full Time Line Cook/Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, preparing high-quality meals, and maintaining a clean and safe food environment. Ideal candidates will have a passion for food service, excellent kitchen skills, and a commitment to food safety standards. Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times
- Support meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service
- Assist in inventory management by stocking supplies and rotating stock as needed
- Adhere to health regulations and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment




- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Regular kitchen activities (Cleaning, dishwashing etc)

Skills

- 1-2 years of experience in food preparation, cooking, or related roles within a restaurant.
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment usage
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays if required
- Passion for the food industry with a desire to learn and grow professionally in culinary arts

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Milton, ON L9T 4W9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
