Concrete Foreman

Work – Commercial & Industrial Flatworks & Above/Below Grade Structural

Duration – Seasonal / project-based — solid conversion to full-time permanent based on performance & fit

Locations – Edmonton/St. Albert-based with periodic out-of-town work (3–21 days, ~10–30% of the year) across Alberta and beyond

Compensation – $42–$52/hr, based on experience and competency

Run the crew, own the output, hold the standard — and turn the project into permanent.

Why this is worth your time

- Pay for what you bring. Competitive rate set to your experience and competency.
- Technically complex work. High-value industrial and commercial concrete projects across Alberta.
- Lead real work. Own your crew, your sequence, and your output — with a Superintendent and PM backing you, not breathing down your neck.
- A team that means it. Quality, safety, and accountability are non-negotiable here.
- A future, not just a job. Project-based entry with a strong path to permanent — a growing values & mission driven company to grow with.

What you'll run

- Lead the crew on flatwork slabs, structural foundations, equipment pads, and related civil work
- Run the work from drawings and briefing packages — sequence it, resource it, keep it moving
- Own daily logistics: crew activities, materials, and equipment
- Hold site safety — toolbox talks and standards, every day
- Report production daily and flag issues early to the Superintendent
- Ensure workmanship meets ITP and project spec

What you bring

- 7+ years concrete construction, with 2+ in a lead or foreman role
- Flatwork and/or structural concrete — candidates with both disciplines strongly preferred

- You read and work from structural and civil drawings
- Strong crew leadership and communication
- Valid Class 5 (non-GDL) licence, clean 3-year abstract
- Can clear all industrial/plant site access requirements (safety tickets, D&A; testing)
- Saturday availability as schedules require
- Legally entitled to work in Canada

Nice to have: Engineered forming systems (Doka, Peri) · industrial, energy, or heavy commercial project background · safety leadership training (NCSO, OHSA, or equivalent).
