We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team in a licensed cannabis cultivation facility. The ideal candidate will assist in various stages of cannabis production, from plant care to packaging, while ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
· Transport of pre- and post-processed cannabis between production environments in a sanitary fashion
· Set-up, operate and maintain trimming and automated packaging equipment in accordance with applicable SOP’s
· Hand trim or machine trim product to prepare it for the next stage of processing
· De-fan, separate and hang buds quickly and efficiently
· Understand and follow all SOPs and related forms and procedures to GMP/GPP standards
·Complete all required documentation using good documentation practices
·Ensure the wash bay remains organized and all equipment is cleaned in a timely manner so that flow is not interrupted
· In accordance with applicable SOP’s, package cannabis in a variety of forms determined by batch-driven work orders
·Perform material transfer duties regarding both cannabis and packaging supplies
·Perform quality control inspections of final trimmed products
·Perform duties required to tear down, clean and sanitize rooms, equipment and tools in accordance with applicable SOP’s and Cannabis Act requirements
·Weigh and record materials for performance tracking
·Perform record keeping duties in accordance with GDP (Positive Documentation Practices) standards
·Ensure waste products are accurately labeled and documented appropriately in accordance with SOPs
·Maintain proper communication with supervisors to address any issues
· Assist with inventory counts as required
·Position details and activities may change from time to time in order to meet operational needs
·Participate in other tasks that may be assigned by your supervisor
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Previous experience in horticulture, agriculture, or cannabis cultivation is preferred.
- Must be able to focus with routine and repetitive tasks, physically demanding work, standing for extended periods of time, in occasional hot and humid conditions.
- High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and compliance.
- Basic computer skills for electronic data entry and environmental system monitoring.
- Familiarity with health and safety standards and regulatory requirements in the cannabis industry.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in a highly regulated, indoor cultivation facility with exposure to high humidity, lighting systems, and strong plant odors.
- Regularly operates trimming and/or automated packaging equipment
- Seed to sale software and seed to sale tracking systems
- Equipment for planting, growing and harvesting medical cannabis products for consumption
- Achieving expected performance standards while maintaining an efficient and safe working environment.
- High volume workload requiring both sound technical knowledge and ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Highly physical work
- Strength demands, up to 10-20 Kg (22-44 lbs.)

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
