Person must be able to work with minimal amount of supervision. Punctual, good work ethic, and regular work attendance are mandatory. CSA approved steel-toe safety shoes and PPE are mandatory at all times for the duration of your shift. Please note that all prospective candidates must comply with current Collective Agreement conditions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Building crates / skids for shipping (using wood saw and pneumatic nail guns)
- Load products on crates / skids (load by hand or using crane as needed)
- Loading – unloading paint line: move product and material by hand or using crane to load & unload
- Offloading, sorting and delivery of various steel materials and parts after laser cutting operation
- Pushing and pulling wagons/carts loaded with parts
- Delivering parts to other areas of factory using wagons/ carts / pump truck
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

- Must be mechanically inclined
- Experience with basic hand tools
- Physically fit; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and repetitive basis
- Must be comfortable standing and walking throughout the full shift
- Must be comfortable using computers and barcode scanning technology




- No experience required but experience in these areas will be considered an asset: Shipping/Receiving, Forklift Operator, Crate Building, etc.
- Must be able to work up to 40 hours weekly
- Able to learn various jobs and duties quickly

Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
