Hawkeye Security Group Inc. is currently seeking professional, reliable, and customer-focused Casual Event Security Guards to join our growing team. We provide security services for festivals, concerts, sporting events, community celebrations, private functions, corporate events, and special events throughout Winnipeg and surrounding areas.

As a Hawkeye Event Security Officer, you will play an important role in ensuring the safety of guests, staff, performers, vendors, and property while delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining a qualified presence.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain a professional, approachable, and visible security presence throughout assigned event venues.
- Monitor entrances, exits, restricted areas, and designated access points.
- Perform bag checks, ticket verification, and access control when required.
- Provide crowd management and assist with directing patrons safely throughout the venue.
- Respond professionally to disturbances, medical emergencies, lost children, and other incidents.
- De-escalate conflicts using effective communication and conflict resolution techniques.
- Work closely with event organizers, venue staff, emergency services, and Hawkeye management.
- Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs when required.
- Enforce venue rules, client policies, and safety procedures.
- Assist with opening, operating, and closing event security operations.




- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Qualifications

- Valid Manitoba Security Guard Licence (required).
- Previous experience in event security, customer service, hospitality, retail security, or similar roles is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong observation and situational awareness.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification is considered an asset.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and reliable transportation are considered an asset.
