This is an independent contractor role aligned with the academic calendar.

We are currently hiring for the September 2026 - June 2027 school year.

Responsibilities:

- Plan lessons and resources
- Teach techniques based on RCM or other curriculum
- Help students prepare for upcoming performances/RCM exams/festivals
- Follow studio policies (to be discussed during interview)
- To interact and stay organized with studio manager and director
- Respond to emails or text quickly
- Punctual start and end of lesson time with each student, along with perfect attendance
- Organized in keeping tabs on schedule, demos, and make-ups.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

- Excellent piano skills
- A good knowledge of pop music/jazz music/ classical music/ RCM curriculum
- Patient and enthusiastic
- Good communication skills
- Self -motivated and positive organizational skills
- A good sense of humor and comfortable talking with students and parents

Education & Experience:

- Teacher must be familiar with genres other than Classical
- MUST have some music certifications , and/or degree related to music
- Experience in teaching children.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $35.00 per hour
