Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with food preparation when necessary. If you are unavailable Sundays please do not apply. Sunday availability is a must.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets quality standards.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area.
- Handle cash transactions, ensuring accurate math calculations for payments.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and cash handling.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Ability to work in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A team player who is willing to help colleagues as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
