Our clinic is a multidisciplinary clinic with practitioners providing a wide range of rehabilitation services including Physiotherapy, Chiropractic care, Acupuncture and Massage Therapy.
We are seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant/Receptionist to join our team part time (mwf evenings and saturdays) with the opportunity to increase hours to full time. The successful candidate should have experience with working in a Physiotherapy clinic. Experience with reception duties is an asset.
The successful candidate will be responsible for applying modalities to patients, demonstrating exercises, preparing rooms before patient use, looking after the administration duties of the office, as well as handling patient inquires, appointments, payment and records.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Initiate and maintain patient communications during registration
Scheduling and confirming appointments using electronic booking systems,
and maintaining efficient flow of practitioner schedules
Apply modalities such as IFC, ultrasound, laser, and IFC
Demonstrate and supervise exercises
Ensure safety and cleanliness of clinic
Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 1 year experience as a PTA and/or Medical Receptionist
Friendly and welcoming attitude, with the ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks
A professional who demonstrates initiative, attention to detail and follow through
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills are a must
Proficiency/fluency in the English language (written and spoken) is a must
Positive computer skills
Experience working with a Physiotherapist is a requirement
