We are hiring for an Elevator assistant/Grain operations asst. at our Rycroft, Alberta facility. This is a permanent full-time position. You will be working Monday to Friday, 8 hr/days.

As the Grain Operations Assistant , you will be responsible to receive, store, condition, and ship grains. You will work directly with grain producers, grade grain samples, document the sampling, communicate results, inspect inbound and outbound vessels, clean vessels as necessary and perform minor equipment maintenance. Your goal will be to collaborate with the Grain Operations Team to meet the responsibility of the safe and efficient operation of the facility.

Essential Qualifications:

- Minimum High school diploma
- Experience in a grain handling operation is a robust asset and desirable
- Experience in a grain handling operation is a strong asset and desirable
- Must be able to work at elevated heights and confined spaces with the ability to climb ladders/stairs and lift up to 50lbs
- basic understanding of rail operation including loading,



switching cars,etc.
- Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must have the ability and be comfortable working in an outside environment with exposure to various temperatures and weather conditions
- Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
- Customer relationship experience
- Experience in a grain handling operation is a strong asset and desirable
- Strong computer skills ( Ms Office, word, excel)
- You must be living in, and legally eligible to work in Canada
