We are seeking a talented and personable Hairstylist/Barber to join our vibrant salon team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity and passion for hair styling while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to helping clients look and feel their best, maintaining high standards of sanitation, and contributing to a welcoming salon environment. Previous experience in hair styling, barbering, or related fields is preferred, along with strong communication skills and a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

- Provide professional hair cutting, styling, coloring, and grooming services tailored to client preferences
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles or treatments
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work station in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Upsell retail hair care products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing payments




- Build lasting relationships with clients through excellent customer service and personalized attention
- Stay current with industry trends and techniques to continually improve skills and service offerings

Skills

- Robust customer service orientation with the ability to connect with diverse clients
- Expertise in hair styling, cutting, coloring, and grooming techniques
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
- Ability to effectively upsell products and additional services in a professional manner
- Excellent communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration
- Experience with retail sales within a salon setting is a plus
- Front desk experience is desirable for managing appointments and client interactions
