Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver/Shop Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, ability to load/unload with forklift and tie down/secure loads.

Duties

- Safely operate commercial vehicles including F550 deck truck and trailer
- Load/unload flat decks and trucks with a forklift/skid steer
- Tie down/secure loads using chains, boomers and ratchet straps
- Delivering/picking up tooling and equipment to different site locations
- Doing pre-trip inspections and log books. Navigate through weigh scales when needed
- Maintenance of diesel and petrol vehicles
- Check tires, fluids and grease as needed
- Assist with moving and organizing inventory
- Support shop activities by helping with various tasks as needed

Requirements





- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record and experience in commercial driving
- Experience using forklifts
- Experience with heavy equipment preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Strong communication skills
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation to work location
- Ability to work in a quick-paced environment with safety as a priority
