Responsibilities
- Assist a Lead Pumpjack Technician in maintaining a safe and efficient worksite
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for a variety of maintenance tasks
- Participate in safety meetings and support all safety programs
- Inspect pumpjack components
- Perform oil changes and greasing of pumping units
- Conduct preventative maintenance on pumping equipment
Qualifications
- Completion of Boon’s pre-employment process:
- Driver’s Abstract
- Criminal Record Check
- Drug & Alcohol Screening
- Physical Demands Analysis
- Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in various conditions
- Meets the bona fide occupational requirements of the role
- Positive attitude with a strong commitment to safety
- Previous oilfield or pumpjack maintenance experience is an asset
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable working at heights (e.g., in a man basket)
- Minimum Safety Tickets Required:
- H2S Alive
- Standard First Aid
- Fall Protection
- Gas Testing
- CSO (Common Safety Orientation)
