Minuteman Press – Burnside is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Large Format Print Operator to join our rapid-paced printing and signage production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining large format printing and finishing equipment to produce high-quality signage, graphics, and specialty print materials.

This role requires strong technical ability, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality while meeting production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Print Production:

· Operate large format printers, including HP R2000 (Latex Flatbed) and HP 360 (Roll to Roll) and Summa Plotter systems

· Prepare, process, and manage print files using RIP software

· Ensure accurate color matching and maintain strict quality control standards

· Monitor print runs to maintain consistency, efficiency, and minimize waste

· Perform test prints and color adjustments as required

Equipment Maintenance:

· Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on printers and finishing equipment

· Troubleshoot minor mechanical or software-related issues

· Coordinate external service and technical support when necessary

· Monitor and maintain inventory of inks, substrates, and production supplies

Quality & Workflow Management:





· Review job dockets and artwork for accuracy prior to production

· Ensure all jobs are completed according to specifications and timelines

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production workspace

· Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies

Qualifications & Experience:

· Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating large format printers in a print or signage environment (preferred)

· Strong working knowledge of RIP software and color management principles

· Experience with vinyl cutting, lamination, mounting, and finishing techniques is considered an asset

· Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) is an asset

· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods

· Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
