Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Food Runner/ Expediters to help join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will ensure the running food, cleanliness and sanitation of dining area, dishes, utensils, and supporting the overall efficiency of our food service operations. This role is essential for maintaining a safe, hygienic and organized dining area, enabling our culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Duties

- Run food, clean tables, wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and using proper cleaning techniques
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing/ glass washing stations and ensure all items are sanitized according to food safety standards
- Assist with food ordering tasks such as pouring drinks and food handling as needed
- Support servers by organizing clean dishes and supplies for efficient service
- Follow health and safety regulations to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe working environment
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Assist with general kitchen cleaning duties to uphold sanitation standards





Requirements

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads such as trays or boxes of supplies
- Willingness to learn current skills related to kitchen operations, cooking, serving, and meal preparation
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends if required

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
