Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a blend of clinical and administrative skills, making it essential for candidates to be well-versed in dental assisting practices and software.

Duties

- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for various dental procedures.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix and Dexis.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Manage appointment scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.





Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental software systems, particularly Dentrix and Dexis.
- Knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics is a plus.
- Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented workplace while maintaining excellent communication with patients.
