Shift:

40 hrs a week. Must be open to varying start times on night shifts Monday to Saturday.

Job Description:

- Shunting trailers to and from barge

- Conducting pre and post trips

- Local P&D; work

- Linehaul to North and South Island points

- Some dock work pending volumes

- Operate forklift to load/unload freight

Job Requirements:

· Professional attitude in all interactions when on shift

· Valid Class 1 license and clean commercial driver’s abstract

· Familiarity with Nanaimo and surrounding areas an asset

· Experience loading/unloading flat deck freight an asset

· Experience operating and maintaining a forklift an asset

· Must be domiciled in the Nanaimo area

· Includes some physical labour, must be able to lift freight up to 50 lbs

· Ready to work in a quick-paced team environment

Compensation & Benefits:





· Starting wage $31.29-32.79/hr as per union contract - shift differential paid 16:00-03:00
