Description of Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a Gastroenterologist to work in a busy and growing private Endoscopy Centre with an established referral base. GHA has been serving the greater Hamilton and Niagara area for almost 10 years, with a catchment population of over one million.

The position serves patients who require GI consultation, endoscopic services, management and follow up.

The successful candidate will have one day per week of endoscopy and 4 days per week of outpatient clinic. There is no on call services.

Requirements

Candidates must have Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada certification in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. In addition,



the successful candidate must be eligible to be licensed to practice as a Gastroenterologist in the Province of Ontario and have CMPA coverage. Clinical experience of 5 years or more is preferred.

Remuneration

The clinic operates on a fee splitting model, with a portion of OHIP billings supporting the overhead costs of the clinic.
