flagship AurMac Project hosts a significant and rapidly expanding gold resource of over 8.6

Banyan is currently advancing its projects from exploration toward Preliminary Economic
Assessment (PEA) and Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) stages, with a commitment to
sustainable development, technical rigor, and strong relationships with local and
Indigenous communities.

The Opportunity

Banyan Gold Corp is seeking a Vice President, Engineering to lead the Company’s
technical and engineering functions as it transitions from exploration into advanced-stage
project development.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and working closely with the VP Project
Development, the VP Engineering will play a critical leadership role in shaping and
delivering the Company’s engineering strategy, overseeing all engineering studies, and
positioning the AurMac Project for future development and construction.

This is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth junior mining company and help advance
a major gold project in the Yukon from early-stage engineering to Project development.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

- Develop and execute Banyan’s engineering strategy aligned with corporate

objectives
- Provide technical leadership at the executive level, contributing to long-term

planning and value optimization

- Build, mentor,



and lead a high-performing internal engineering team

Technical Studies

- Lead and oversee progression through PEA and PFS stages, ensuring high-quality,

defensible technical outputs
- Guide mine planning, metallurgy, infrastructure design, and trade-off studies to

optimize project economics
- Manage and coordinate external engineering consultants and technical specialists

Project Optimization & Execution Readiness

- Drive engineering excellence across all disciplines, including mining, processing,

and infrastructure
- Oversee capital cost estimates, operating cost models, and project schedules with

appropriate accuracy levels
- Support long-term planning toward feasibility, permitting, and eventual project

execution

Collaboration & Integration

- Work closely with geology, exploration, environmental, permitting, and

Indigenous/community relations teams
- Ensure engineering activities are fully integrated with environmental and social

considerations
- Support stakeholder communication by clearly articulating technical aspects of the

project

Risk & Governance

- Identify technical risks and implement mitigation strategies

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, NI 43-101 standards, and industry

best practices
- Establish disciplined processes for engineering review, reporting, and decision-

making





Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mining, Metallurgical, or related); advanced

degree considered an asset
- Skilled Engineer (P.Eng.) designation (or eligibility in Canada)

- 15+ years of experience in the mining sector, including senior leadership roles

- Demonstrated experience advancing projects through PEA and PFS stages,

preferably in gold projects
- Experience in precious metal and/or large-scale open pit operations is highly

desirable
- Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and external

consultants
- Familiarity with northern or remote operating environments (Yukon or comparable

jurisdictions) is an asset
