Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation and possess the ability to work with various materials, including cork, laminate, vinyl, and hardwood. This role requires precision, craftsmanship, and the ability to follow instructions and project specifications to ensure high-quality results.

Responsibilities

- Install various types of flooring materials, including cork, laminate, and hardwood.
- Prepare surfaces for installation by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary underlayment.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, shape, and fit flooring materials.
- Apply caulking as needed to ensure a finished look and seal gaps.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct final inspections of completed work to ensure it meets specifications and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the installation process.

Requirements

- Proven experience in flooring installation or related fields such as carpentry or maintenance person services. (3 years experience preferred)




- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to flooring installation.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Must have a vehicle to get to the job sites around the GTA Area.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot installation issues as they arise.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
