Arcadia Academy of Music is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Piano Instructor to join our Burlington team. If you're passionate about music education and enjoy helping students build confidence and achieve their musical goals, we'd love to hear from you.

We have immediate teaching opportunities with a consistent student schedule available Monday through Friday.

About the Position

As a Piano Instructor, you'll teach engaging one-on-one lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to intermediate and advanced musicians. Lessons range from 30 to 60 minutes, and you'll have the prospect to guide students through personal goals, Royal Conservatory (RCM) examinations, performances, and music festivals.

Responsibilities

- Teach engaging, personalized private piano lessons tailored to each student's goals and learning style.
- Develop students' technical skills, musicianship, sight-reading, ear training, and music theory.
- Select appropriate repertoire based on each student's age, ability, and interests.
- Prepare students for RCM examinations, recitals, festivals, and performances.
- Track student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
- Foster a positive,



encouraging, and professional learning environment that inspires long-term musical growth.

Qualifications

- Ability to teach students ages 4 and up.
- Minimum RCM Grade 7 Piano (or equivalent).
- Two or more years of piano teaching experience.
- Music degree or diploma is considered an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, organized, and passionate about music education.
- Availability to teach in person at our Burlington studio.
