General Laborer - Landscape Construction (Part-Time to Full-Time)

Starting Wage: $20.00/hour
Hours: Part-Time (20-30+ hours/week) with the opportunity to quickly become Full-Time

The General Contracting Services Inc. is a growing landscape construction company specializing in premium interlock, retaining walls, irrigation, and outdoor hardscaping throughout the GTA.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, isn't afraid of hard physical work, and wants to build a career in the landscaping and construction industry.

You'll work directly alongside the owners in a small, supportive team where your contributions matter. As our company continues to grow, this position has the potential to advance into a full-time role and eventually a Crew Leader position.

What You'll Be Doing

- Assist with the installation of interlock patios, walkways, driveways, and retaining walls
- Load, unload, and move materials such as pavers, gravel, wheelbarrows, and tools
- Dig trenches and excavate using shovels and other hand tools
- Prepare job sites by setting up equipment and organizing materials
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely
- Perform general site cleanup and keep work areas organized
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, professional job site
- Work efficiently with the team to complete projects on schedule

What We're Looking For





- Reliable and punctual—you show up ready to work every day
- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
- Valid G driver's license and reliable transportation is considered an asset
- Previous landscaping or construction experience is an asset, but not required
