Duties

- Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on vehicles using advanced tools and equipment
- Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic software to identify issues accurately
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Repair or replace mechanical components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, and electrical systems
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and industrial machinery when required for vehicle or equipment servicing
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized machinery to complete repairs efficiently
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications while maintaining a clean work environment

Requirements





- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or service technician with dealership experience preferred
- Solid mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems and heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery
- Familiarity with electrical systems, schematics, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning), welding techniques, and industrial equipment maintenance
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and operate power tools effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients
- Hands-on experience with automotive repair software and diagnostic tools is highly desirable
- Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training; experience working with Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery is a plus

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)
